For more than three centuries, the Filistrucchi workshop in Florence has been creating handmade wigs for theatre, opera, film, television and historical productions.

Founded in 1720 and still active in its original premises, Bottega Filistrucchi is one of the oldest artisan workshops in Europe dedicated to the art of theatrical transformation. Combining centuries of craftsmanship with the demands of contemporary productions, we design, create and rent wigs for performers, theatres, opera houses, film productions and cultural institutions in Italy and abroad.

Every wig is the result of a unique blend of historical research, technical expertise and artisanal skill, ensuring authenticity, comfort and visual impact both on stage and on screen.

Handmade Wigs for Theatre
