Whether your wig was made for a doll, a mannequin, a votive offering, a historical wig, or one used for everyday wear or entertainment, the Filistrucchi workshop’s artisanal work allows us to restore any type of natural hair wig.

How We Restoration Works

For the restoration, conditioning, preservation, and maintenance of natural hair wigs, we begin by analyzing the type of wig the customer delivers. We then select the hair based on the wig’s color. We pay particular attention to the areas where hair is missing. We restore the cap using the appropriate tulle or silk gabardine. We then thicken the cap with the previously selected hair.

We then wash the wig, style it, and then comb it according to the customer’s desired style.

All of these procedures, briefly described, are time-consuming and serve to give the wig a “second life.” This allows customers to have a wig they can display or wear with ease.

In the professional restoration field, we work for museums, religious institutions, and any other context where natural hair wigs are used.
